Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of WorldCall's website, mobile applications, and services (collectively, the "Services"). By accessing or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to all the terms and conditions, do not use our Services.

Use License

Permission is granted to temporarily download one copy of the materials (information or software) on WorldCall's Services for personal, non-commercial transitory viewing only. This is the grant of a license, not a transfer of title, and under this license you may not:

  • Modify or copy the materials
  • Use the materials for any commercial purpose or for any public display
  • Attempt to reverse engineer any software contained on the Services
  • Remove or alter any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notices
  • Transfer the materials to another person or "mirror" the materials on any other server
  • Use the Services for any unlawful purpose or to solicit others to do unlawful acts
  • Use automated tools (bots, scrapers, etc.) to access the Services

User Accounts

When you create an account with WorldCall, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information
  • Maintain the confidentiality of your password
  • Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account
  • Use your account solely for lawful purposes
  • Not impersonate any person or entity
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

Service Description

WorldCall provides international calling services, allowing users to make calls to various countries at competitive rates. You purchase credits to use our Services. The quality and availability of calls depend on various factors including your internet connection, your device, and carrier availability in destination countries.

Billing & Payments

Credit Purchases

  • Credits are purchased in advance and cannot be refunded
  • Unused credits may be forfeited if your account is inactive for 12 months
  • Credit prices are subject to change with notice
  • All payments are processed through PayPal

Billing Disputes

You must report any billing discrepancies within 30 days of the charge. WorldCall will investigate and resolve valid disputes.

Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WORLDCALL SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

  • Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
  • Loss of profits, revenue, data, or use
  • Call failures, interruptions, or quality issues
  • Unauthorized access or data breaches (except to the extent caused by our negligence)
  • Any amount exceeding the fees you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of implied warranties, so the above may not apply to you.

Disclaimers

The services and materials on WorldCall are provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. WorldCall makes no warranties, expressed or implied, and hereby disclaims and negates all other warranties including, without limitation, implied warranties or conditions of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement of intellectual property or other violation of rights.

Security and Data Protection

WorldCall implements industry-leading security measures to protect your data:

Encryption Standards

  • Transport Security: All communications are encrypted using TLS 1.2+ with AES-256 encryption. Your data is protected in transit between your device and our servers
  • Data at Rest: Stored data including call metadata (phone numbers, duration, timestamps), account information, and billing records are encrypted using AES-256
  • Payment Security: Payment information is never stored on our systems. All payments are processed securely by PayPal with PCI DSS Level 1 compliance

User Responsibility

  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
  • You agree to enable Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) for added security
  • You agree not to share your account with other users
  • You agree to immediately notify WorldCall of any unauthorized access to your account
  • You acknowledge that while we implement strong security measures, no system is 100% secure

Data Retention

  • Call logs are retained for 12 months for billing and service quality purposes
  • Account information is retained until you request account deletion
  • Deleted data is securely removed within 30 days where legally permitted
  • We comply with GDPR, CCPA, and other applicable privacy regulations regarding data retention

Security Incidents

In the event of a confirmed security breach affecting your personal information, WorldCall will notify you within 72 hours and provide details about the nature of the breach, data affected, and recommended actions. We will also notify relevant regulatory authorities as required by law.

Acceptable Use Policy

You agree not to use our Services to:

  • Make harassing, threatening, or abusive calls
  • Engage in illegal activities or fraud
  • Spam or make unsolicited calls
  • Use the Service for telemarketing or debt collection (without proper authorization)
  • Interfere with or disrupt network operations
  • Violate any laws, regulations, or the rights of others

Suspension or Termination

WorldCall may suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms or any applicable law. Upon termination, all usage rights granted to you terminate, and your account data may be deleted.

Modifications to Service

WorldCall may modify or discontinue any aspect of the Services at any time. We will provide notice of material changes where practicable, but may not be able to provide notice in all circumstances.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws applicable in the jurisdiction where WorldCall operates, without regard to its conflict of laws principles.
